I am Europe. I am the Empire. And this is a doric Column. We enter a deserted battlefield. Below us creaks the sound of a town in Russia. Two blonde teenagers recede disciplined into the background like quiet lines on a map. Two women stand avert, braiding their hair in preparation for another battle. They stand in the middle of Europe. They will conquer Russia. They will map out and explain the world’s largest country.
